Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Saw Mill Road School!  We are anxiously awaiting the beginning of this school year and to greet all of our new and returning students.  I hope that all of you had a restful and relaxing summer and are now, along with our teachers and support staff, enthusiastically awaiting the beginning of a new school year on Tuesday, September 7^th.  Please join me in welcoming our new and returning faculty and staff members: Mrs. Notti  Assistant Principal; Mrs. Herman, Mrs. Levine and Ms. ODriscoll - Special Education; Ms. DAguanno - Gr. 3; Mrs. Lombardo and Mrs. Romano, School Secretaries. 

Arrival for all students is between 8:20 am and 8:35 am.  Students will be entering the building through the following doors:  Gr. K, 1 and 2 - lobby doors, (REMEMBER, FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN, THE FRONT CIRCLE IS DROP OFF ONLY!  THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE FRONT CIRCLE PRIOR TO 9:00 AM.), Gr. 3 and 4  front Pea Pond Road doors and Gr. 5 and 6  side Pea Pond Road doors. Teachers are assigned morning coverage at these times.  Any students arriving after 8:35 should enter through the front lobby doors.  Attendance for the day is taken at 8:40 am.  Children arriving after this time are considered late.  Please be sure that children arrive on time as our school day begins promptly at 8:40 am.  **Please note:  If your child participates in band/orchestra/chorus and is required to be here prior to 8:20 am, siblings are not permitted in the building at that time, as there is no supervision before 8:20 am.

I look forward to seeing you at our PTA sponsored Second Cup of Coffee at 8:45 am on September 7^th, in the All Purpose Room.
