The North Bellmore UFSD online calendar is designed to provide the members of our school-community information about upcoming events and activities. Many of these dates are scheduled and posted after the printed calendar is distributed to households early in the year. New and additional information regarding school events and activities will be disseminated from our schools and this Website during the year.
Highlights of the calendar include:
- Being able to view school and district public events, holidays, days of the week (i.e., days 1-6) and posted news bulletins.
- The ability to sort the calendar by school or district-wide events
To sort events click Show Category in the calendar's menu. Choose the category or any combination of categories you would like to view and then click refresh. The refreshed calendar will now have only those categories listed. Events will be posted alphabetically using a prefix naming convention, i.e.,
A = District-wide Events
ALPHA = ALPHA Events
D = Dinkelmeyer
G = Gunther
M = Martin Ave.
N = Newbridge Road
P = Park Ave.
S = Saw Mill Road
SAL =Student Arts League

North Bellmore UFSD
Six elementary schools service North Bellmore students:
John G. Dinkelmeyer School, Jacob Gunther School, Martin Avenue School,
Newbridge Road School, Park Avenue School, Saw Mill Road School. Each
school is scheduled on a six day cycle. The numbered day appears next
to the dates on the calendar.
Upon completion of the sixth grade, children continue
their education in the Middle and High Schools of the Bellmore-Merrick
Central High School District.
North Bellmore Schools, which are recognized for their
fine educational programs, are child-centered schools that help children
to be lifelong learners. The District recognizes the importance of enabling
our children to exceed the New York State Learning standards. The importance
of good citizenship, building character and encouraging children to respect
themselves and others is emphasized.
The Board of Education, administration, teachers, support
staff, parents, and community members work together to make our district
a wonderful place for children to grow and learn. The responsibility
to ensure our children are prepared for the challenges of the future
is a shared one. Our parents and community members are encouraged to
participate in the educational process.
We look forward to a successful school year. |
