NBUFSD EARLY DISMISSAL DRILL- FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2026
Dear North Bellmore Community,
Good morning. Project SAVE (Safe Schools Against Violence in Education) regulations require schools to conduct a variety of emergency preparedness drills each year, including lockdown drills, lockout drills, and early dismissal drills. North Bellmore has scheduled the early dismissal drill for Friday, October 9, 2026, as follows:- All students (walkers and bus riders) will be released promptly at 2:45 pm.
- Parents who pick their children up from school should arrive early for dismissal, which will be promptly at 2:45 p.m.
- Parents/guardians should be at the bus stop 15 minutes earlier to meet their children.
This is also a good time to ensure your entire family is prepared to make alternate arrangements should weather or other emergencies dictate an early dismissal.
